Lavender is what I consider to be the miracle herb. It has so many benefits and is one of my favorites. It was a running joke at my last job that I used lavender for absolutely everything! If someone said they had a headache I’d suggest they try some lavender oil on their temples. If they had a stomach ache, I'd put the bottle under their nose to ease it. If everyone was stressed, feeling anxious or panicky, I’d spritz it around the room for a more calming atmosphere. If someone had a bug bite, a drop of oil could be dabbed on the bite to help ease the itching. Everyone knew I had an herbal cure for whatever their ailment was. I was lucky enough to find a tea shop near my office that has a fresh lavender-chamomile blend tea. I find it so soothing especially if I am feeling any tension or stress. Another way to enjoy lavender is to do a foot bath. First steep some lavender in hot water for about 10 minutes. Then add some cold water to mixture and put into a foot bath to make it comfortable, then its ready for you to enjoy. It is so relaxing and can also do wonders for insomnia.
